Citibank, N.A. seeks an Investment Associate Lead for its Miami, Florida location.

Duties: Perform financial analysis of data and metrics associated with multiple asset classes including equities, fixed income, mutual funds, private equity, real estate and hedge funds. Develop and maintain financial models including M&A modeling and analysis. Market and profit & loss analysis using Bloomberg and Factset. Perform financial analysis and review new investment transactions in sophisticated product areas such as Mutual Funds, Alternative Investments, Managed/Advisory, and Structured Notes. Prepare investment proposals and policy statements for current and prospective clients and analyze economic trends/activities to advise on effects to investor portfolios regarding asset allocation, portfolio construction and risk management. Review and verify the completeness of investment documentation and required documentation for new transactions. Partner with banker teams and investment counselors in managing existing relationships and cross-border investment referrals for Brazil, including ultra high net worth business development. Review, analyze, and coordinate acceptance of business referred into U.S. booking center from onshore entities. Provide enhanced oversight of bank-side investment transactions. Support members of investment team in delivering investment solutions for clients using knowledge of investment policies, procedures and regional and legal and regulatory requirements, applying knowledge of Brazilian and LATAM Capital Markets. Analyze and determine suitability of investment related transactions and support onshore and offshore Bankers in Sales/Suitability Assessment process. Work with banker teams to understand suitability of clients for recommended investments and work in conjunction to deliver solutions. Review Managed Investments recommended to clients by attending meetings with featured Fund Managers, Product Teams, and Investment Counselors. Analyze business process flow and productivity and enhance processes to develop more efficient standards across onshore and offshore teams.

Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field and 3 years of experience as an Analyst, Associate, Consultant or related position involving financial product analysis. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. 3 years of experience must include: Financial analysis of data and metrics associated with multiple asset classes including equities, fixed income, mutual funds, private equity, real estate and hedge funds; Developing and maintaining financial models including M&A modeling and analysis; Business process flow and productivity analysis; Market analysis and analyzing profit & loss; Bloomberg and Factset; Applying knowledge of Brazilian and LATAM Capital Markets; Asset allocation, portfolio construction and risk management. 2 years of experience must include: Brazil ultra high net worth business development; Building client relationships. Up to 20% international and domestic travel required.
