Description
The Mortgage Analysis & Reporting Team is responsible for supporting all data, analysis, and reporting needs for the Mortgage Servicing business to ensure proper management of pipelines within SLA, complying with Regulatory, State, and Investor requirements and providing Management with visibility into KPIs and colleague performance. This includes daily production of operational reports for all Servicing and Default departments, SME knowledge of Mortgage data, where to source it, and how to correctly utilize it, ad hoc data pulls for Audit and Regulatory Exams, and support of process improvement efforts managed through Agile Pods. The Analysis & Reporting Team Manager plays a key role in supporting Mortgage Servicing Operations Leaders through the management of a team of seasoned data analysts, owning the intake, prioritization, and design of requests that support our growing Mortgage business. The incumbent will also be responsible for maintaining the data strategy for Mortgage Servicing, maintaining a keen focus on continuous improvement and process automation. Key stakeholder contacts include Mortgage Operations, like Customer Service, Escrow, Cash, Collections, Loss Mitigation, Foreclosure, and Bankruptcy, Regulatory Reporting, Investor Accounting, Credit Risk, and Investors like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage team of analysts responsible for developing and maintaining reports and data analyses for Mortgage Servicing
Serve as Reporting lead for strategic mortgage initiatives and Investor, Audit, and Regulatory Exams to ensure appropriate and accurate support of Exam data needs
Ability to work cross-functionally and provide leadership and hands on day-to-day solutions, guiding the team on how to collect requirements, analyze data and develop technical solutions that meet business requirements
Strong desire to understand business challenges and leverage analytical knowledge to interactively assist the business in developing and documenting requirements for suitable data solutions
Good business acumen, interpersonal, communication, technical, and influencing skills with a demonstrable ability to engage at multiple leadership levels of the organization
Coach and develop colleagues that are responsible for SAS programming, business analysis, business systems/automation, procedure documentation, and operational risk management activities
Develop and execute queries supporting ad hoc or ongoing data needs based on working knowledge of Mortgage data to ensure important deliverables are met based on overall team capacity and work distribution
Manage projects to timely completion and communicate status updates, including risks to deadlines
Qualifications
Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant work experience in a technical leadership role or equivalent experience, including concentrations in reporting development and business analysis
5+ years experience in SAS , SQL, Tableau, especially Base SAS
Extensive experience in managing projects including leading project intake, prioritization and reporting
Experience working with Agile and SCRUM teams
Strong problem solving and time management skills, a superior client service orientation and advanced analytical capability.
The ability to multi-task and function efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment is truly important.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to support others through development and coaching.
Solid knowledge of MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Mortgage experience, especially with MSP, Passport, and/or BDE is preferred, but not required

Hours per week: 40
Work Schedule: 8AM-5PM, Monday – Friday Eastern Time
