As the Mortgage Default Ops Sr Professional on the Assist Me with Options agile pod, you will assist the Experience Owner with the build out of operational efficiency, incorporate automation and workflow in mortgage default processes, integrate new tools and vendors to achieve operational goals and improve customer facing processes and touch points for mortgages. You will work with agile development methodologies – applying corresponding tools and techniques – to facilitate innovation and execution. You will closely with the agile team and assist with the agile production, using your product and technical experience to deliver faster, and better, for our customers, colleagues, and business needs.
Your role will be to manage all facets of assist me with options work stream. This includes daily priorities, financials, and developing technical, and process, operational and reporting requirements. The position requires you manage myriad development requests and engage multiple stakeholders to drive out requirements through relationships. Liaising with business partners in risk, legal & compliance, and operations is an integral part of the role. Through engagement with business partners and a deep understanding of the mortgage default operations the Mortgage Default Ops Sr Professional is responsible for coordinating, project managing and planning across several functions tied to all areas of Mortgage Default, (e.g. Collections, Loss Mitigation, Bankruptcy, Property Preservation, Foreclosure, REO, etc.).

Expertise in working in an Agile environment
Need expertise in Mortgage Default Operations and solid understanding of solutions to assist customers who are experiencing financial hardship
Manage and prioritize work backlog and resource pool
Execute and help design sprint focus and plans
Assist with managing expenses and resource needs
Work closely technology, digital, customer experience and collections operation team to effectively solicit requirements.
Strong background and experience in with creating ways to optimize loss performance and streamline operations.
Exceptional organization and project management skills and the ability to work with various internal stakeholders under tight deadlines
Strong presentation, influencing and negotiation skills coupled with advanced MS Office skills
Exceptional communication skills both written and oral
Ability to connect and effectively communicate with people of all levels and functions
Excellent leader – able to motivate and develop high-performing individuals
Able to thrive and prioritize in a constantly changing environment
Define, develop, and direct the implementation of product roadmaps and capabilities
Support an agile mindset across product teams to drive the transition to a product-based organization focused on maximizing the value of the customer experience

Create, prioritize, and refine the backlog to deliver the most valuable work first, while ensuring technical integrity of all features or components
Communicate with business partners, stakeholders, pod members and Neighborhood Leaders to ensure product delivers the agreed upon standards for quality and scope
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
7+ years of experience in mortgage default operational processes and technologies
Proven experience with:
Providing effective technical solutions to functional challenges
Applying current procedures and technologies to resolve business issues
Building your knowledge-base and staying current on technical and procedural job components
Researching the target market to identify how product and services are sold and delivered, identifying linkages across the business and enterprise
Leveraging data to make business decisions and measure team progress/effectiveness
Supervising the advanced use of requirements analysis tools and services, including prototyping and use-cases
Producing detailed functional and information requirements models and documentation
Training others on requirements walkthroughs and quality reviews
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree
Knowledge of Agile approaches (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Crystal, FDD)
Experience in financial services
Experience establishing risk-based controls within a highly regulated environment
Hours and Work Schedule:
Hours per Week: 40hrs
Work Schedule: 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday
