Current vacancy: Reallocated from Senior Account Clerk for recruitment purposes, once position is restored to original allocation, incumbent is responsible for the issuance of all City checks and/or warrants (except for the Honolulu Board of Water Supply); accounting for all cash receipts and deposits of City departments and agencies; and maintenance of accounting records for all cash receipts of City departments and agencies, for all checks and/or warrants issued by the City and for purchases and maturities of investment of City funds.

Minimum Qualification Requirements: EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from high school. Responsible work experience which demonstrated the ability to perform the essential functions of the job may be substituted for education.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Four years of clerical work experience, one of which shall have included responsibility for the collection and accounting of cash.
Substitution:
Business school or college will substitute for experience on a month-for-month basis for up to two years of the required three years of clerical experience. There is NO substitution for the one year of specialized experience involving responsibility for the collection and accounting of cash.
