The City of Norfolk Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is seeking an Administrative Assistant I to support Norfolk’s newest department. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer.
The Administrative Assistant I will perform clerical, administrative, and financial support duties and provide records support. This individual will assist with scheduling, Payroll, employee onboarding, and office purchases, as well as coordinate training for support staff, and manage planning & reporting processes.
Signing Bonus: This position is eligible for a one-time $5,000 signing bonus for applications received on or after February 22, 2022 until June 30, 2022. The signing bonus will be paid in two (2) increments: $2,500 upon completion of 60 days of employment, and $2,500 upon completion of your probationary period. To receive the signing bonus, you must be an active employee in good standing.
