About The Role
Our HR Advisor role is a critical role within our Advisory Team, reporting to the Manager HR Advisory Services. The HR Advisor will work across the Civil Aviation Authority and AvSec, and have a primary focus on working with, and supporting our Advisory function in delivering high-quality HR advice, support, services and solutions to the managers.
This is a permanent part-time position based at Wellington National Office and t he salary band for this position goes from $77,165 to $108,939 (pro-rata) with the mid-range being$90,782 (pro-rata) . The starting salary will be based on the knowledge, skills and experience that the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both within the immediate team and in the broader Authority for the same or similar roles.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for work-life balance in a 20 hour part-time position. This could suit a seasoned Advisor or an HR Coordinator who’s ready to move up into a generalist Advisor position.

The Civil Aviation Authority National Office is usually located in modern offices opposite the Wellington railway station. As a result of remedial earthquake strengthening work that needs to take place, our National office staff are currently working remotely and in temporary offices in central Wellington.
