Clarity Therapy Hiring for Billing specialist at Remote Full Time

Billing specialist

1099/Contract, Independent Contractor
Part-time Remote with room to grow

10 hours/weekly $25-$40/hr based on experience

With room to grow, we are offering 10 hours/week to begin. We are aiming to launch a new branch of our business this summer, at which point we anticipate needing more full time support. Our ideal candidate will be able to make a comittment for at least one year.

JOB RESPONSIBLITITIES

Payroll

• Assist with the weekly payroll process
• Track and monitor weekly office usage and statistics
• Update practice associate payroll documentation as needed

Weekly Credit Card Charging

• Update declined cards
• Monitor and implement super-bills
• Connect with clients to keep credit card and other important information updated
• Collect and maintain up to date information regarding special billing needs and exceptions

Client Registration

• Register new clients and send intake paperwork
• Follow up with clients and track required documents
• Send Good Faith Estimates (GFEs) as needed to clients

Insurance and Courtesy Billing Assistance

• Facilitate communication with therapy associates and clients to set up Nirvana courtesy billing system
• Liaise with Nirvana on all associate and client issues surrounding billing
• Promote quality assurance checks on information associates need to upload to Simple Practice for successful claim filing
• Monitor and reply to billing inquiries via email

General Office Related Tasks

• Order office supplies and equipment
• Connect with the building superintendent regarding maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Coordinate deliveries and be available to receive deliveries on site which require signatures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to multitask
• Great written and verbal communication
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent customer service
• Attention to detail and ability to problem-solve
• A high degree of confidentiality
• Self-starter who can work autonomously
• Demonstrates the ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines
• Data entry, accounting, or bookkeeping experience is a plus
• Carry individual professional liability insurance
• Familiarity with Simple Practice, Superbills, ADP, Compliance Tracking, Google docs & spreadsheets is a major plus
