Clayton Services Hiring for Warranty Clerk at Houston, TX Full Time

Clayton Services is searching for a Warranty Cancellation Clerk to join a thriving company in North Houston. The Warranty Cancellation Clerk will be responsible for processing all cancellations and refunds for warranties and aftermarket policies purchased by customers in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

Job Type: Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $37,500 – $41,600/year

Warranty Cancellation Clerk Responsibilities:

• Processing all cancellations of extended warranty and insurance policies.
• Ensuring that all required documents are collected for the cancellation process.
• Calculating and processing all refunds accurately and timely.
• Posting of all general ledger entries.
• Reconciling statements for all cancellations and answering all customer inquiries.
• Maintaining accurate files for all companies.
• Other duties as needed within the Accounting Department.

Warranty Cancellation Clerk Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records

Warranty Cancellation Clerk Education and Experience:

• High School or General Education Degree (GED)
• One to two years of experience and knowledge of an automotive dealership accounting workflow
