ClarksburgClarksburg, WV, USAHourlyFull TimeFull BenefitsUnder general direction of supervisor(s) this position provides support services to the employees, manager, and customers by ensuring the efficient flow of documentation and supplies from various sources.SUMMARY OF DUTIES:- Open & close work orders of all levels of complexity- Review and enter time into time collection system and prepare and process required paperwork- Order & distribute shop supplies for personnel- Research literature through on-line and other resources- Verify, record, maintain, & submit specific service shop records- Greet and assist customers in person or over telephone to answer questions and provide solutions for customer needs.- Advise concerned parties on status of jobs- Generate purchase orders for repairs on all equipment of the various product lines- Research part numbers from online databases, and other resources- Order parts for repairs from either inside or outside the Company- Process payments and or credits for services in a timely manner- Utilize and review reports on service employee’s hours, repair time on customer equipment, and machine history- Schedule repair work as required- Coordinate record keeping with sales and administrative personnel- Operate basic office equipment- Substitute for other positions and other functions as assigned by necessity- Perform other job duties as assigned by managementBACKGROUND TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:- Preferred clerical experience or willingness to learn in a service shop environment.- Strong communication skills with internal and external customers- Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite applications- Must have intermediate computer skills and be proficient in typing- Ability to organize and prioritize work based on time constraints- Thorough understanding of shop practices and procedures focusing on work order processes- Working skills in researching and ordering of parts coupled with computer supported clerical ability- Basic knowledge of engines, parts inventory, electrical systems, and or an equivalent combination of training and experience acceptable to CompanyCleveland Brothers Equipment Companyhttps://clevelandbrothers.applicantpool.comWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
