We promise to know you and help you. CLA is looking to hire an Experienced Audit Associate to join our growing Employee Benefit Plan (EBP) audit practice, at our Baltimore, MD location. CLA is the leading provider of employee benefit plan audits (per DOL statistics) and continues to grow with building a national Hub of employee benefit plan audit specialists. We are seeking professionals with audit experience who are interested in building their career specializing in employee benefit plan audits. As a member of our EBP team, you will will assist clients across multiple industries keep abreast of their responsibilities as plan sponsors fiduciaries while keeping employees’ retirement benefits safe. We have provided EBP audit, tax compliance, and consulting services for more than 40 years. Our 30 partners and 300 professionals audit more than 3,000 plans across the country and provide compliance and consulting services for hundreds more. As an Experienced Audit Associate you will: Perform a wide range of audit and accounting procedures impacting industry-specific issues. Audit complex areas/transactions as well as prepare financial statements and related reports. Develop and train team interns to help them build inspired careers. Work with many great clients to help them resolve complex issues and get results. Perform analytical reviews on financial accounts and identify trends. Think you’re a fit? You have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. You have or are eligible to sit & obtain a CPA license. You have at least one year of experience in public accounting and/or a professional services firm. You can demonstrate that you’ve rocked it as an entry-level accountant or intern and have been exposed to financial statement preparation and audits. Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range. These same factors may cause starting pay to be below or above the posted range.
