He Pou a Rangi | The Climate Change Commission (the Commission) is an Independent Crown Entity established under the Climate Change Response Act 2002.
We provide independent, expert advice to the Government of Aotearoa on both mitigating and adapting to the effects of climate change, and we monitor and review the Government’s progress towards its emissions reduction and adaptation goals. The Commission plays a key role in developing and implementing clear and stable climate change policies in Aotearoa.

Ngā Tūnga | The role
A permanent position, the Group Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to tier three managers across multiple portfolios within the Strategy, Engagement & Corporate Services Group (SEC Group).
Mō ēnei tūranga mahi | The role will involve
Providing general administrative support and coordination to the tier 3 managers within the SEC Group. This may include meeting coordination, travel arrangements, calendar management, tracking requests for services, and coordination of SEC Group reporting.
Ō pūmanawa | About you
This role will suit someone who has had experience providing administrative support to multiple managers. A calm and flexible approach will see the candidate be outcome focussed at times that may seem ambiguous.

A key priority for the Commission is Te Ao Māori. This means we work with our Treaty partner and grow our capability and capacity to accurately reflect Māori views and Te Tiriti o Waitangi in our work.
