Purpose of the Job:
We are looking for a Brand Analyst who will be part of this amazing fintech and the team responsible for working on brands and driving the business results. S/he will engage with multi-disciplinary teams (including Sales, Finance, Product Supply, Advertising, and Media Agencies). S/he should thrive in a culture of decisions based on analytics, be able to step-back and communicate both the strategic and immediate implications on priorities. This candidate must have strong written and verbal communications skills in both English and Spanish, great communication silks and be willing to continue learning.
Education Level & Work Experience:
Com Bachelors or master’s degree in Marketing.
1+ year of experience working with multi-disciplinary teams to develop action plans to build brand and also develop win-win value.
1+ year of experience working in FMCG with local and/or global brands in Mexico or another region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop portfolio strategy (new and existing products), price strategy and go-to-market commercialization, tailor- made trial & loyalty sales plans to win in each channel in Mexico for multiple sub-brands.
2. Work closely with multi-functional team to develop long term and short-term strategy & sales plan to build brand and develop win-win value for merch. (product management team, customer happiness, etc).
3. Work closely with agencies in-house and out-source on developing commercial work for driving sales, trial & loyalty in e-commence, retailers, comis, etc.
4. Below-the-line consumer communication (include print, outdoor, direct-to-consumer marketing, public relations and point of- sell materials, etc).
5. Media (develop and execute media strategies to reach target consumers including level, mix and market prioritization).
6. Work closely with Logistic to develop/improve S&OP: forecast.
7. Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends.
Technical knowledge:
1. Professional chartered marketer (CIM).
2. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities.
3. Strong ability to communicate and team capabilities (English & Spanish).
4. Understand and support quarterly and annual revenue, profit and market share goals achievement.
5. Ability to confidently engage different levels and multi-functional stakeholders.
6. Ability to effectively manage projects under very little supervision to achieve team goals and complete work assignments within established time frames.
7. Excellent interpersonal communication, engagement and influencing skills.
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey learning and actions to take.
