CMS Distribution Hiring for Operations Manager EMEA Job at Dublin , Ireland Full Time

The Operations Manager EMEA will have responsibility for logistics and coordination of operations for EMEA Customers. Working closely with counterparts in other international regions USA and APAC and team members in UK & Ireland. As a key member of the international operations team you will be responsible for helping to scale and refine the operations and logistics processes with a focus on operational efficiency and team development.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Manage the logistics and operations functions for supply of third party products to key customers from CMS facilities in Castleford UK and Tilburg , NL
• All inbound outbound order scheduling, and exception management
• Order book management
• Ensuring CMS are fully compliant with import / export regulations within the UK and EU
• Manage CMS’ stock holding within CMS and Customer DCs
• Operational support for remotes sales office and reporting to CMS Europe Operations team
• Operational onboarding of Vendors and suppliers
• Drive Cost reduction / reduction in cost to serve for all logistics related activities
• Ensuring CMS meet/ exceed targets set out in Customer SLAs
• Accuracy of stock on hand in relation to SAP system
• Ensure Aged stock is rotated returned to Vendor and CMS stock turns targets are achieved
• Drive Cost reduction / reduction in cost to serve for all logistics related activities
• Develop/ improve comprehensive SOP/ SOW with Suppliers and customers .
• Supplier SLA management
• Appraise all costs and service providers and develop an accurate cost to service model
• Develop a stock reconciliation and returns process along with key stake holders
• SAP improvement proposal for region

Commercial

• Legal & Regulatory Compliance within Territories
• Customs Import and Export Compliance
• Product Compliance & Restrictions within Territories

Operational

• Management and coordination of all order processing through 3PL and SAP
• Coordination of all Returns through region from Customer back to Vendors for credit
• SLA and performance review of all 3rd party providers
• Management of Importer of Record Status
• Creation and maintenance of all Operating Procedures

Financial

• Reduction of Cost of Sale % through review, scale, planning and efficiency improvements
• Negotiation of 3PL and Transport Costs in conjunction with key stakeholders
• Invoicing of all goods, recharges to Vendors etc
• Stock management – Accuracy , Aging, Audit & Stock Turns

Management – Staff

• Small local Admin Support team
• Remote Management of 3rd Parties
• Be responsible for the development and retention of team members including mentoring and coaching, setting objectives and performance management
• Strong management skills with the ability to lead and coach team members to deliver against customer and personal KPI’s
