CNC Software Hiring for Localization Product Owner at United States Full Time

Position Overview:

CNC Software is seeking a Localization Product Owner to be responsible for the deliverables of a team of multi-disciplined localization practitioners working in a fast-paced Agile environment. Working closely with product development teams, the Localization Product Owner will curate a backlog of important product deliverables encompassing the entire localization life cycle. You will use your industry and professional experience to manage projects from inception to completion for an advanced CAD/CAM software product.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary interface between the Localization team and all other teams, synchronizing efforts across development teams by working closely with other product owners.

• Understand user needs and convert them into a prioritized backlog of work to conform to the requirements and needs of stakeholders.

• Use industry and professional experience to manage projects from inception to completion for our advanced CAD/CAM desktop software product.

• Test and accept localization user stories.

• Manage relationships with outside vendors, as needed, including providing specifications for work product.

• Act as servant-leader to the team by promoting a sense of community and creating an environment of shared decision-making.

• Manage stakeholder expectations and report on significant milestones.

• Work with the Manager to develop long term roadmaps and vision documents for localization products and features.

• Coordinate product releases in conjunction with product development, quality control, and content development teams.

• Negotiate priorities, scope, funding, and schedule for localization efforts and deliverables.

• Collaborate with the Technical Supervisor to curate the backlog, plan future projects, and ensure successful completion of long-term initiatives and goals.

• Facilitate team meetings and improve team efficiency and communication.

• Track and report team metrics and performance .

  Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in a project management, product management, or similar role driving projects or processes from inception to completion.

• 3+ years of experience working on Agile software development projects.

• 4+ years of experience in the localization industry preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of project management and project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Experience with highly technical localization projects such as engineering or life sciences, preferred.

• The ability to work independently, with self-direction, to complete tasks and projects in a pro-active manner.

• Proven ability to manage several projects/tasks at once while projecting a positive outward demeanor.

• Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills.

• Demonstrated team player approach and commitment to helping teams and team members grow and excel.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide accurate and timely information in a succinct and easy to understand manner.

• Ability to clearly communicate technical and non-technical information to co-workers.

• Demonstrate adaptability and willingness to learn.
