The Gig
You will have the responsibility of developing complex, real-time solutions in multiple layers of the tech stack. From API’s and services to databases, data engines and machine learning. If you have an interest in Python you will get to flex this muscle on a big data platform. Their API layer is written in .Net.
About You
You have a tech agnostic mindset and more focussed on the solution than the tools used to arrive there. You are competent in several programming languages and had at least a couple of years dealing with cloud platforms. These guys are using AWS but you can learn that no the job if you have worked with other cloud providers.
Key Skills
- Software design and development
- Clean code and design patterns
- Sound understanding of OOA/OOP
- API’s (.net / C# nice to have) and services layers (Java, Node or other are fine too)
- Both Relational databases and NoSQL databases
- Python experience in any capacity is a big plus, especially any data wrangling / data development / Machine learning
- Engineering best practices including TDD, SOLID, DRY etc
- Real time, near real time or distributed systems experience is a plus
