The Pitch
In a company with as many beverage products as CCEP, it takes a lot of behind the scenes work to get our finished products out in to the market. To receive, store and direct enough of our raw materials, we need our Inwards Goods team to look after this important job! We’ve got an excellent opportunity as an Inventory Storeperson – if you’re a team player who is self-managed and conscientious, this could be the role for you! This is a Monday to Friday 6.00am to 3.30pm role – start and finish times can be flexible within reason.
The Role
Reporting to the Inventory Supervisor, this role will primarily be responsible for receiving and processing all incoming stocks. You’ll be ensuring that all stock is stored in compliance with our specified regulations and that all procedures are carried out in a safe manner. A large part of your role will be picking and staging stocks for the line, receiving/dispatching stock, ensuring accuracy of physical vs logical stock, and transparent and timely communication with the relevant department throughout your day. Accurate stocktaking will be a major element of your role, so attention to detail is a must! And you’ll need to maintain a tidy work area that is compliant with Health & Safety standards. And, of course, you should enjoy working in a team environment.
What Do I Need?
For this role, you’ll require a Class 1 NZ Driver’s Licence, as well as an OSH certified Hoist licence. Dealing with many internal and external stakeholders, your oral and written communication skills will be excellent. On top of this, you’ll be comfortable using your mathematical skills daily. Your flexible “can do” attitude and willingness to learn and adapt will see you perform strongly in this position and will make you an asset to the Inwards Goods team. Finally, you’ll be able to manage yourself and your own workload effectively, and ensure all tasks are completed within a timely manner.
The Benefits
You’ll get a fantastic competitive wage, superannuation, and shares – not to mention plenty of complimentary product. It doesn’t get much better than that! Most importantly, with our world-famous learning and development environment it is your future that will be invested in – who knows where your CCEP career path will take you!
The Culture
We’re exceptionally proud to be recognised by as one of NZ’s Best Employers for several years in a row now. If you ask our team what they love about working here, they’ll tell you it’s our people, our brands, and our culture. We have an inclusive work environment, and actively embrace our diversity of people, ideas, talents, and experiences. Our vision and values are at the heart of all that we do, with a team truly committed to creating millions of moments of happiness and possibilities for our employees – just as we are for our customers and our consumers.
