POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The warm residence Les Jardins du Couvent is currently looking for an Attendant for Evening beneficiaries. Located in Marieville, where the countryside and the amenities of the city come together, we welcome a hundred autonomous and semi-autonomous residents. Join our team now as a Beneficiary Attendant. Part-time evening shift, weekends only. Schedule from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m. Working at the Jardins du Couvent is more than a job, it’s a life experience! 30 minutes from Montreal via Highway 10 E. 35 minutes from Granby via Highway 10 O.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adhere to standards and legislation in accordance with private seniors’ home certification and the code of ethics

Answering call bells

Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around

Delivering messages to the nursing staff

In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .

Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents

Respond to all emergency situations

While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
No experience necessary

Good communication

Knowledge of Symo software (an asset)

Law 90 training

Up to date CPR / AED training certificates

PDSB training
