Cognitive Space Looking for Full Stack Developer – Vue/React & Python at Houston, TX Full Time

Cognitive Space uses the power of AI to help organizations forecast, optimize, and orchestrate their satellite constellations.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will be working with a fully-remote, but highly collaborative product engineering team to help build intuitive data & map UI’s and scalable APIs with JavaScript & Python. Our SaaS platform will host a suite of tools and the APIs will be used for intelligent space systems to modernize satellite operations.

Learning Opportunities

• Explore, visualize, and process aerospace data.
• Collaborate with aerospace domain experts, and software developers to understand customer needs, and produce excellent products.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers, back-end engineers, and web designers to improve the usability

Requirements

• 2+ years of proven professional experience in Python and JavaScript/Typescript (Vue, React, et
• Proven experience working in Vue or React
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and Responsive Web
• Proficiency with building and calling APIs (Django/Fast/Flask)
• Proficiency in writing tests, Jest, pytest
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
• US Citizenship

Bonus Skills

• Experience with data visualizations, 3D, map UIs is a plus (mapbox, cesiumjs, three.js)
• GraphQL

Salary Range: $90K – $130K
