Job summary

Join Cognizant as a Data Modeler; collaborate with our experienced Engineering teams on exciting client projects where you will be able to create data models optimized across different data domains and for various purposes, working with enterprise requirements from business analysts, data architects, data administrators, database developers, and data scientists.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Analyse and implement business solution in Salary packaging & Novated leasing business
• Proven productivity in developing and maintaining client’s legacy and cloud applications
• Provides regular technical suggestion suitable as per business needs
• Researching, consulting, analysing, and evaluating business application requirements
• Regularly Involved in R&D of critical and challenging deliveries
• Understanding of web and cloud technology stack relevant as per market demand
• Designing and developing backend components using Microsoft SQL Server
• Design and front-end implementation of web apps using ASP.Net (Web Forms/MVC/Core)
• Design web services using Swagger, Code using .Net and Test using Soap UI & Postman
• Write complex SQL queries and working with database objects in SQL server
• SQL query optimizations and tuning for performance improvements of applications
• Experience in debugging and improving code for performance improvements
• DB validation using SQL queries and reviewing team members code quality
• Testing, debugging, diagnosing and error correction in legacy and cloud applications
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines integration with cloud platform like Azure DevOps
• Writing and maintaining technical program, end user documentation and technical specs
• Work closely with the development and business teams to understand the functionality and provide suggestion, guidance, and expertise in developing final proposals for development
• Participate in sprint planning and daily stand ups to stay on top of things and report progress
• Participate in sprint retrospectives and provide suggestions for further improvement
• Work closely with end users during UAT and help them to understand requirement
• Production issues priority analysis and help end user with ticket resolution on time
• Interacting with clients to resolve issues they are facing and keeping them updated
• Engage and help team members embrace best automation practices to keep ahead
• Participations in interviewing candidates for any open position in .Net and Azure
• Proactive in helping on-board new members, providing guidance, and conducting KT

Salary range: $90,000-$100,000
