Overview of Job Description:

• Key role as Solutions Manager (Presale Engineer) providing pre-sales consultative technical services to the Sales team in the Latin America (LATAM) region.
• Leads technical presale activities for innovative and complex solutions in the telecommunications, cyber and intelligence domains in the LATAM region including submission of full technical proposals.
• Performs product presentations and POCs for prospects, customers, and distributors.
• Responsible for presale activities including RFP/RFI response cycle throughout the requirement mapping, high level solution design, system sizing, budget analysis.
• Lead technical discussions and deliver technical and marketing presentations.

Principal Duties and Essential Requirements:

• Lead and author complex technical responses, including RFPs/RFIs, from the requirement level, throughout solution design, system sizing and commercial discussions. Provide accurate and cost-effective configuration documents to address specific customer needs. Review final proposals to ensure accuracy of product functionality statements
• Deliver effective sales presentations, product demonstrations and POC’s of Cognyte’s Solutions to customers and distributors. Answer complex questions on product function and usage and lead technical discussions with customer.
• Leading technical discussions with system architects, product management and BD (inbound) and technical discussions with Customers and Vendors (outbound)
• Participate in business development opportunities in close coordination with assigned Sales Manager.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate colleagues in a matrix management environment throughout the presale cycle.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Technical Sales support experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively with the channel sales team, management and customers.
• Proven ability to handle deadlines and manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and time frames. Works independently with limited supervision
• Strong organizational, project management and analytical skills necessary with the demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion.
• Must be able to travel up to 50%

Preferred Requirements:

• Previous experience and technical understanding of Telecom and ISP networks – advantage.
• In-depth experience in cellular network (GSM, UMTS, LTE) – big advantage
• Experience in deploying cellular networks (GSM, UMTS, LTE) – big advantage
• Technical background in IP communication, protocols, and internet technologies – advantage
• Intelligence / SIGINT background – advantage
• Experience as Solutions architect – Advantage
