About the role

As a Product Developer within the Dairy, Freezer and Convenience team, you will be responsible for a variety of categories across the portfolio.

What you’ll be doing

This position will see you working cross-functionally to develop and deliver world class innovation for Coles Brand products.

You’ll also:

• Work with the supplier base, Own Brand COE and Consumer insights teams; to understand our customers needs and deliver products that meet brand values, aligning with the category strategy and Coles quality standards.
• Project manage ‘right first time’ end to end product and packaging delivery and ongoing quality standards.
• Navigate numerous stakeholders, internally and externally, calling on your strong influencing skills to deliver outcomes.

Good things you’ll need

• Relevant experience within a retail, or FMCG business.
• Experience within food product development, with the ability to present innovative ideas and products.
• A developed knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements in the market.
• Experience in innovation, product development and consumer insights.
• A strong commercial acumen.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
