The College of Licensed Practical nurse of Manitoba (CLPNM) operates under provincial legislation and regulation to regulate licensed practical nurses (LPN), graduate practical nurses (GPN), and student practical nurses (SPN).
For more than 75 years, our job has been to ensure that the public receives competent, safe, and ethical care from practical nurses. We are the second largest health regulator in Manitoba and oversee almost 4000 LPNs, and over 400 SPNs and GPNs.

THE POSITION
The Legal Assistant/Administrative Assistant reports to the Operations Manager but is expected to conduct their duties with minimal supervision. The position plays a vital role in organizing and facilitating the College’s effective and efficient workflow by providing expert administrative assistance and support. The position coordinates and provides varied and at times, complex administrative support to the Conduct Department, Education Program Evaluation Department, and statutory committees. The position may provide support to other departments on an ad hoc basis.
The Legal Assistant/Administrative Assistant works closely and collaboratively with the Conduct Program Manager and Education Program Evaluation Consultant on a regular basis.
The Legal Assistant/Administrative Assistant is part of the administrative services team and shares the general office and reception duties with other members of the team.
