We have a fantastic opportunity for an AML Compliance Officer to join the Corporate team in our world-class Auckland CBD office.

We are looking for a positive and analytical professional to manage the compliance function of AML at Colliers and act as the nominated AMLCO. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering our AML Compliance Programme, with focus on managing customer due diligence, reporting, quality assurance, and audit requirements of the AML legislation.

This position is full or part-time, minimum 30 hours per week, with exact days and hours to be agreed with the successful candidate.

The values you’ll add

• Review of the Colliers AML Compliance Programme to ensure compliance
• Identify and develop enhancements to ensure best practice in managing AML processes, and customer due diligence
• Develop and conduct staff training programmes
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure CDD is completed in a timely manner
• Review and approve third-party Customer Due Diligence processes and information
• Answer queries from salespeople, clients, and other stakeholders
• Conduct quality assurance testing in line with our AML/CFT Programme
• Maintain AML records and conduct audits
• Report and advise on AML matters

• Tertiary or CAMS qualified with a financial, accounting, or legal background
• Knowledge of AML/CFT regulatory obligations and an interest in AML
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional manner
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Knowledge of the New Zealand real estate market is desirable
