Role Summary;

Collins Aerospace, the Applied Research & Technology organization seeks a Business Development Senior Coordinator at our site in Cork, Ireland. In this role, the successful candidate will support the Strategic Business Development Associate Director with proposal preparation and business development initiatives

Business Development Coordinator

Ensure execution of the Business Development process as per company policy.

Entering proposal data for the internal portfolio management tool

Preparation of initial draft NDAs and other research-related agreements

Support the proposal development, including standard work, proofreading, and editing.

Support & facilitate proposal response from opportunity identification through to final submission.

Schedule gate review reviews of proposal strategies, storyboards, IP & finance, legal reviews, according to the Business Development proposal process.

Ensuring all approvals are as per the ART approval matrix; are documented and stored as per the Company policy

Support the proposal team in engaging internally (finance, contracts, ) and externally with partners and consultants

Monitor the status of proposal development-related documents for completeness, and compliance with call requirements.

Consult and assist the Business Development lead in the production of PowerPoint presentations and additional marketing materials

Track proposal win/loss ratios and develop and maintain performance tracking metrics for BD activity tracking and reporting

Update business opportunities and track an updated opportunity landscape.

Support BD team with B&P budget management, liaising with finance to open charge numbers, tracking and monitoring B&P expenditure, and ensuring charge numbers are closed in a timely manner

Documenting proposal budgets, funding allocations, and approvals

Coordination of preparation of research agreements at the post-award stage.

Ensuring proposal information flows to the Technology Management programs team

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree with 3 – 5 years of marketing/customer service experience. In absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required

Experience with military/defense products/services preferred.

Fluency in French AND OR German will be an advantage but not a requirement.
