Comcentric Hiring for Payroll Assistant Job at California Full Time

We are currently seeking a Payroll Assistant for 3+ Month temporary position in Madera, CA. Will be responsible for Issuing checks, processing direct deposit files, and processing vendor payments from payroll deductions and accumulators.

Responsibilities:

• Performs payroll processing duties for a bi-weekly payroll cycle for 200+ employees
• Pulling time from ExecuTime into financial system Munis and processing payroll.
• Issue checks, process direct deposit files, and processes vendor payments from payroll deductions and accumulators

Requirements:

• Must understand public sector compensation rules and how to read and apply applicable collective bargaining agreements, FLSA requirements, and California Labor Code requirements applicable to public agencies
• Must have 3+ years of experience processing payroll
• High School Diploma or equivalent
