Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Architectural Drafter located in Christchurch, with flexibility for some remote work. As an Architectural Drafter, you will be responsible for producing detailed and accurate drawings of architectural plans, ensuring all construction blueprints are up-to-date and meeting the technical specifications laid out in the plans. You’ll also have to work in close collaboration with architects, engineers and construction personnel to provide technical and design support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture or Similar Education
• Proficiency with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D Studio Max
• Experience with BIM software would be an added advantage
• Demonstrated expertise in reading and understanding construction blueprints and schematics
• Ability to work independently and manage a diverse workload
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality work
• Experience working with architectural or construction firms is a plus
