PennDOT is looking for a highly motivated person to perform various clerical and office support services in the Bureau of Driver Licensing. The ideal candidate may have experience with medical conditions and medical knowledge, and can apply this to working with incoming medical reports from physicians, law enforcement, and concerned citizens. As a Clerical Assistant 3 you will review and process medical forms, returned medical forms, and making decisions based on established policies and interpretation of existing regulations/statutes. The selected candidate will also conduct independent research into medical conditions and medical verbiage, and communicate with others. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment.
• Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Rotating Saturdays are a requirement for this position. This position may be required to work when a full-day and/or partial-day office closing is authorized.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or
• One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.
