Are you interested in contributing to the health and wellness of Pennsylvanians? The Office of Drug Surveillance and Misuse Prevention is seeking support for the Office’s work in responding to the overdose epidemic in PA.

This position in the Drug Surveillance and Misuse Prevention Office supports the program’s goal to improve the health of Pennsylvanians by promoting the appropriate use of controlled substances, such as opioids, and ensuring that they are always prescribed and dispensed safely and responsibly in the Commonwealth.

This position serves as a lead worker to the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program’s (PDMP) technical support service and provides clerical and administrative support to the office’s overdose prevention and response initiatives.

• Full-time employment.
• Work hours Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with 30 minute lunch period.
• You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework) up three days a week – in the office two days a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and telework Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Qualifications:

• 
  Minimum Experience and Training Requirements – Six months as a Clerk 2, and educational development to the level of high school; OR one year of progressively complex clerical experience and completion of high school; OR six months of moderately complex clerical experience and completion of a post high school business curriculum; OR any equivalent experience and/or training which provided the required knowledges, and abilities.
