The Pennsylvania State Police is seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly motivated clerical and office support professional to serve with the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, Philadelphia District Enforcement Office.

As a Clerk Typist 2 for the Pennsylvania State Police, Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, Philadelphia District Enforcement Office, you will provide clerical and office support within the District Office to ensure efficient and effective operations.
You will perform timekeeping duties by entering time and attendance records, maintain databases, spreadsheets, and logs, maintain files, perform data entry, receive and respond to requests for information, answer and route incoming telephone calls, and perform other related duties as required.

Schedule/Other Information:
Work Hours: 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Work Days: Monday thru Friday
Please Note: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $32,176 (before taxes).
Additional Requirements
1 year of experience performing timekeeping such as entering time/hours worked, attendance and leave records.
Preferred Skills (preferred but not required):
3 years of experience using Microsoft Word.
3 years of experience maintaining databases, spreadsheets, and logs.
3 years of experience with preparing and formatting various correspondence, forms, and reports.
3 years of experience proofreading and editing various types of materials to ensure grammatical correctness and completeness.
3 years of experience working in a position that requires maintaining, updating, and purging files.
2 years of experience answering and assisting with incoming telephone calls.
2 years of experience utilizing various office equipment such as a personal computer, copying machine, facsimile machine, and postage meter.
