THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position coordinates and implements environmental interpretive programs, outdoor education programs, information services, and public relations for the Tioga and Susquehannock State Forests in Potter, McKean, and Tioga Counties under the supervision of the Assistant Forest Managers. This position also performs technical work in the field of environmental interpretation and outdoor recreation in the Tioga and Susquehannock State Forests.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment.
Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in environmental education, education, the natural sciences, social sciences, or parks and recreation;or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Condition of Employment:
Willingness to work weekends and evenings. Willingness to wear a prescribed uniform.
Other Requirements:
This particular position also requires you to possess a valid driver’s license which is not under suspension.

This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
