Communications Construction Group Hiring for Field Office Assistant – Worcester, MA Job at Worcester, MA Full Time

• Provide administrative support on various telecommunications construction projects.
• Assist field operations with the completion of daily time sheets
• Verifying the accuracy and performing quality checks of various payroll, production and billing information
• Assist with the preparation and updating of cable system as-builts and maps (engineering documents/drawings) to show construction progress.
• Read, comprehend, and utilize cable system maps and plans (will train).
• Communicate with corporate office, customer & subcontractors to resolve any issues with submitted paperwork.
• Operate fax machines, videoconferencing and phone systems, and other office equipment.
• Perform data entry as needed.
• Use computers for spreadsheets, word processing, database management, and other applications.
• Complete forms in accordance with company policies & procedures
• Field telephone calls, receive and direct visitors.
• Performing other various clerical duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Must have strong/advanced computer capabilities in Microsoft Word, Excel, email & internet research
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects with short term goals.
• Problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail are required.
• Must have outstanding quality control skills.
• Must be able to pass criminal background and drug screening.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
