We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our growing team!
Position Overview
Responsible for developing new business in an assigned region by developing strong relationships and executing a best in class sales methodology. This role is expected to drive revenue in their assigned market/territory by closing net new business accounts mostly via marketing generated meetings.
A Day in the Life
Track and achieve necessary core metrics and KPI’s (daily, monthly, quarterly)
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual goals set by management
Efficiently and profitably control the sales cycle: prospecting, cold calling, providing sales presentations both on site – if applicable – and remote, overcoming objections, generating proposals, and closing contracts
Maintain, increase and maximize the sales volume of accounts and market share by developing sales strategies for various contacts and prospect using analysis and account penetration strategies
Provide weekly reporting to sales management including Forecast (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and other KPI’s
Utilize CRM accurately to document and communicate all sales activity
Maintain updated competitor information, i.e.: their services and practices, and keep leadership informed on said practices
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Nurture relationships with all client contacts to foster long-term trust and increase the probability of retention*
We are looking for someone who brings
Experience:
3 to 5+ years of inside and outside sales
Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3 years equivalent work experience
Experience handling customer escalations and mentoring peers
Experience prospecting non-profit industries (charities, schools, associations, etc)
Experience selling in the tech industry
A proven track record of successful prospect engagement
Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to manage multiple relationships well
Attention to detail with excellent organization skills
Contagious positivity
Effective time management skills
Ability to deliver presentations in a group setting
Experience with Salesforce.com
Limited travel may be required
Build successful relationships and partnerships at all organizational levels, internally, externally, intra and interdepartmentally
Working Conditions
Normal office environment
Extended viewing of computer screens
Some overnight travel required
Essential Functions:
Frequently sits at a computer terminal and desk
Frequently walks to other areas within or outside of the department to distribute or gather information
Occasional standing; occasional lifting moderate loads up to 25 lbs.; frequent bending
Stooping, crouching while filing; occasional reaching, twisting, turning
Frequent handling of files, pencils, paper; frequent keyboarding, writing and other duties requiring fingering
Continuous hearing
Use of near/midrange/far vision and speaking to disseminate information
