Role Description

• Communicating with patients, clinicians, and location team members to discuss needs and/or concerns over the phone.
• Managing all aspects of the scheduling for providers
• Obtains prior authorization for patient appointments
• Act as a liaison between patients and clinicians
• Maintaining accurate schedules and checks following weeks schedule to make sure patients are linked to insurance and appropriate
• Timely and direct communication with patients regarding schedule changes.
• Collects co-payment and outstanding balances and provides receipt to patient
• Perform office administrative tasks such as document scanning, spreadsheet entry, making reminder calls, answering busy multi-line phone system and managing clinic scheduling

What you will need:

• Experience in customer service or previous experience in medical setting

• Superior phone skills; confident and professional when calling people and being accurate with information.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and a high degree of comfort using various technologies and systems.
• EPIC or EMR experience strongly preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 – $25.00 per hour
