Completely Kids Hiring for Reading Tutor (Remote) at United States Full Time

Complete the following

• Initial program orientation
• Brainstorm Curriculum training

Tutoring

• Assist children in the development of reading skills and build their enjoyment!
• Conduct one-on-one 45-minute tutoring sessions with students using the Scholastic Brainstorm Curriculum up to five times per week
• Engage in adequate preparation prior to tutoring sessions
• Build relationships with children to foster a positive learning environment.

Other

• Ensure wi-fi is stable prior to tutoring sessions
• Utilize personal laptop for virtual tutoring sessions

Safety

• Report concerns about youth safety to Completely KIDS staff.
• Maintains appropriate confidentiality and boundaries at all times.

• Reliable attendance/punctuality is an on-going essential job function.

• Ability to be sensitive and confidential when working on issues with children and families.

Volunteer Experience:

• Volunteer or paid experience working with at-risk, school age children is preferred.
