Complexly LLC Hiring for Freelance Fact-Checker at Remote Full Time

The difference between fact and fiction can be subtle, so we need someone with an eagle eye to help fact-check our Crash Course Art History video scripts.

Crash Course, owned by Complexly, is an award-winning YouTube channel that invites students, teachers, and lifelong learners to tackle subjects they might have had trouble with or are curious to learn more about. Our videos take traditional classroom concepts and combine them with engaging and insightful narratives to help people learn and understand.

As our freelance fact checker, you’ll be asked to review 20-25 scripts to make sure all the information is accurate, reliable sources are cited, and any gray areas are flagged for your editor. Ideally, you have experience fact checking, such as in a journalistic or academic context. Big plus if you have experience with art history or a related humanities field.
