Introduction / Overview

The Component Distributors Group is the largest wholesale distributor of vehicle replacement spares in Ireland. As part of our continued development, we are currently recruiting for a Delivery Driver to play a key role in our business.

We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our growing warehouse team based in Rosemount Business Park, Ballycoolin Road, Blanchardstown.

Job title: Delivery Driver x 3 Posts

Reports to: Warehouse manager

Job type: Full Time; Permanent

Rate of pay: €27,000 per annum

Shift pattern: 8 hours per day shift excluding breaks; Mon to Fri or Tue to Sat; shifts between 7.00am to 7.00pm. Shift will be confirmed on appointment.

Probation: 6 months from start date

Job summary / Role and Responsibilities

· Delivery of goods to multiple customer locations across the route network.

· Adhere to pre agreed cut off times.

· Pick up of returns good from customers.

· Well organised and have a professional attitude towards customer service.

· Responsible for ensuring company vehicle is safe and meets all regulatory standards.

· Complete daily checks and reporting any defects to your line manager.

· Work as part of the general warehouse team when not driving.

· Other ad-hoc duties as requested by supervisor.

· Comply with Company policy and procedure in wearing PPE and following required health and Safety protocols.

· Comply with required policy and procedure in reporting sickness, requesting annual leave and any other relevant process.

· Participate in the Performance Management process to ensure delivery of own, and the wider team’s objectives.

Essential Criteria

· Must be over 25 years of age.

· Hold a full clean ROI driving license over 2 years.

· Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Salary: €13.00 per hour
