Premier Dermatology practice in North County Coastal San Diego seeks Full Time receptionist. We are a busy, well regarded private practice with a strong, dedicated, enthusiastic team. We are looking for a receptionist with good interpersonal skills, who is a multitasker and loves people. Prior experience in medical field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patient when they arrive at the office and check them in to our electronic medical records system
• Collect insurance information
• Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
• Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
• Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
• Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
• Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
• Schedule new and return office visits
• Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 – $21.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
