ROLE DESCRIPTION:

• Data Conversion Analysts will assist in converting item records from one IT system to another.
• Each Analyst will be responsible for ensuring proper classification of items into noun/modifier categories and enhancing item specifications using Company processes and systems. Analysts will be working with Company resources to accommodate converting all assigned items and meet a defined scheduled deadline.
• Each Analyst will determine if part to be converted already exists in destination system based on manufacturer name and part number. Analysts will either assign the applicable item number and enhance existing data where necessary, or create a new item master record using Company’s data dictionary and follow defined procedures for creating a new item.
• Analysts will access WestRock applications to create new item requests, extend existing items, and edit items for enrichment purposes. This task may require a 3rd party to reference Internet sources or manufacturer/vendor catalogs.
• Each Analyst will utilize Company’s web-based item portal tool called “Integrity” as the method of lookup and data entry.
• Consultants will follow directions from the Data Conversion Project Manager who will assign work and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to be met on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Deliverables:

o Items classified to proper noun/modifier category from Company’s Data Dictionary, all critical item attributes added, and required manufacturer information included.
o All legacy description master data added to the Company item specifications.
o All relevant branch data added to new item creations and extended items.
o Items that require additional research identified and logged.
o Descriptions for existing items enhanced by adding additional specifications to existing Company items.
o Weekly/monthly KPIs met as assigned by the Data Conversion Project Manager.
