Leading Retail Company is looking for a Head of Commercial Excellence.

Reporting to the Managing Director and sitting within the Leadership Team, leading sales processes optimization and store-network development, designing and implementing retail excellence programs, monitoring their effectiveness and efficiency over time and ensuring best practices development and diffusion, the Head of Commercial Excellence is responsible for Maximize same-store growth and expansion opportunities while delivering superior customer satisfaction by:

· Analysing and optimizing sales performance using data-driven decisions

· Implementing processes, routines, and tools to foster KPI improvements.

· Leveraging on people excellence through top-notch organization, footprint, and capabilities

· Serving our customers at best through the delivery of a remarkable in-store experience

Main Responsibilities:

Sales Performance

• Guarantee innovative, performing, and effective store processes & tools, oversee KPIs, and provide sales Intelligence and forecasting to drive commercial actions and maximize Sales Performance (e.g., Conversion, Speed, Repurchase on DB…) while ensuring the best in-store Customer Experience.
• Deliver performance results (partnering with Sales Function) assuring forecasting accuracy, encouraging proactive performance improvement and intelligent benchmarking
• Drive Sales effectiveness through attentive agenda management, a skilful omnichannel orchestration, intelligent booking and optimized time management.
• Set incentives (in collaboration with HR) and sales targets for shop/areas
• Implement processes & tools according to Global blueprint, piloting also selected innovative processes/solutions
• Drive go-to-shop activities for Pricing and Customer Experience
• Define and manage the country function’s budget assuring its optimization for the expected project and activities

Store Operations

• Assure implementation of support service model assuring coordination Local Control tower monitoring local performance and escalation process
• Implement store processes and monitor adoption
• Ensure cross-functional orchestration of local masterplan initiatives impacting the store along with proper store communication

Organization and Capabilities

• Drive organizational models’ implementation
• Deliver training performance, working with the Training team developing the right skills and capabilities set needed to constantly improve in-store performance
• Ensure capability

Network Footprint

• Develop, following the Global guidelines, network footprint plan ensuring geographical optimization leveraging on best store formats

Education & Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Significant experience (at least 8+ years) in complex organization in Commercial and Marketing Areas within International contexts
• Teamwork attitude, ability in working and achieving results through others
• Proven leadership and inspirational skills
• Communication & buy-in skills
• Analytical approach and sharp problem solving
• Project management skills
• Ability to cope effectively with different roles and cultures across organization
• Ability to leverage best practices, share and reapply
• Direct experience on functional transformation/change management in a retail/service oriented environment
• Extensive experience leading complex initiatives especially in Commercial and Marketing Areas within International contexts
• Solid academic education and fluent communication in English
