Responsibilities for the Admissions Clerk:
- Coordinates and facilitates the admissions process in-house.
- Runs potential patient insurance to ensure coverage in an efficient manner.
- Inputs all patient information to electronic medical record system.
- Completes weekly, monthly and other reports, as assigned, in a timely and comprehensive manner.
- Maintains current knowledge and understanding of client payment sources, i.e. HMO, commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.
Qualifications:
- Skilled nursing experience is preferred
- Demonstrate capabilities of working hand in hand with other departments including nursing and social services
- Good computer skills
- Possess the ability to type and is proficient in computers
- Must have effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
