Responsibilities for the Admissions Clerk:

  • Coordinates and facilitates the admissions process in-house.
  • Runs potential patient insurance to ensure coverage in an efficient manner.
  • Inputs all patient information to electronic medical record system.
  • Completes weekly, monthly and other reports, as assigned, in a timely and comprehensive manner.
  • Maintains current knowledge and understanding of client payment sources, i.e. HMO, commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Skilled nursing experience is preferred
  • Demonstrate capabilities of working hand in hand with other departments including nursing and social services
  • Good computer skills
  • Possess the ability to type and is proficient in computers
  • Must have effective communication skills, both verbal and written

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
