About Us
Launched two years ago and backed by Bessemer Venture Partners, Thrive Capital and other private investment firms, we are a tech-infused financial services platform focused on driving growth across a sub-sector of financial firms in the United States. Since launch, we were instantly placed on a track to operate at the scale of a top 100 of our sub sector. With many partnerships secured, and multiple deals under LOI, with substantial committed capital, we expect to achieve the revenue equivalent of a top 50 US tech infused financial services in our sub-sector, with ambitions to scale into a multi-country platform in the short term.
Our mission is to collaborate with local firms to enhance their independence while boosting their revenue and profitability—leveraging data-driven strategies, cutting-edge technology, and an experienced leadership team.
Position Overview
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief of Staff position is newly created and will serve as a trusted advisor and operational partner. This high-impact, high-visibility role is ideal for an career professional (3–7 years post undergrad) with experience at a top-tier management consulting firm or private equity firm. You will work hand-in-hand with the CEO and leadership team to drive strategic initiatives, manage cross-functional projects, and optimize execution across the organization. This role has limitless long term growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic & Analytical Thinking
• Proactively identify and frame key business challenges, analyze complex problems, and develop actionable recommendations.
• Work with senior leadership to shape strategic direction and support data-driven decision-making.
2. Data Analysis & Insights
• Collect and interpret metrics to inform business decisions, spanning finance, operations, and new growth initiatives.
• Synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into clear insights and recommendations.
3. Project Management & Execution
• Oversee complex, cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Drive accountability and maintain momentum, keeping projects on schedule and on budget.
4. Executive Communication
• Prepare executive-ready materials, including presentations, memos, and talking points for meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate leadership meetings, staff sessions, and strategy reviews, ensuring all discussions are purposeful and drive outcomes.
5. Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders, partners, and external stakeholders.
• Act as a key liaison to ensure consistent messaging and effective collaboration across teams.
6. Meeting Leadership & Coordination
• Organize agendas, facilitate meaningful discussion, and capture action items for executive-level meetings.
• Track and follow up on critical items to ensure timely completion.
Qualifications
• 3–6 years of professional experience post-undergrad, ideally at a top-tier management consulting/investment bank and an operationally oriented private equity firm.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues and drive data-driven solutions.
• Strong project management expertise, including experience coordinating cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Exceptional communication skills—clear, concise, and persuasive in both written and verbal formats.
• Demonstrated executive presence—comfortable interacting with C-level stakeholders and senior leadership.
• High degree of initiative, resourcefulness, and ownership over responsibilities and outcomes.
• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial setting, adapting to evolving priorities and wearing multiple hats as needed.
