Confidential Hiring for Operations Manager/Administrative Assistant Job at St Thomas Full Time

Our firm is seeking a courteous, professional operations manager to oversee daily operations. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience managing a small business with many moving parts. Warehouse and wholesale experience as plus. Must be capable of scheduling employees, using analytical skills to solve problems and have strong leaderships skills. This is a hands-on position with a focus on planning, scheduling and supervising while balancing office duties. The successful candidate should be willing to wear multiple hats as needed. Must have the ability to handle high volume/busy operations.

*Coordinate with warehouse to ensure orders are pulled accurately and delivered in a timely manner.

*Follow through with Warehouse Manager ensuring paperwork procedures and maintenance is followed in a timely manner.

*Devising methods to reduce and prevent inventory shrinkage.

*Assessing and analyzing operations to find ways to minimize expenses and optimize profits.

*Coordinate with the production department to ensure production comes on schedule.

*Recruiting, inspiring and guiding employees to perform their best.

*Liason between senior management, warehouse and clients.

*Identify potentional problems and find solutions to maximize efficiency and revenues.

*Handle logistics for inbound shipments. Opportunity to assist with purchasing if desired.

*Office duties include Accounts Receivable (most of our deliveries are COD), and some payables.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
