Job Title: Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper
Department: Property Management
Reports To: Property Manager
This position is accountable for supporting the Property Manager and the for the overall management, direction and coordination of all center operations. The position ensures corporate operations objectives are met or exceeded for NOI growth and rent collection with quality results that consistently improve the profitability of the shopping center and subsequently the investors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
❑ Support the General Manager with management of tenant database.
❑ Timely post and apply cash receipts.
❑ Assist in collecting all billed rents in full and on time.
❑ Create billing adjustments at the direction of the Property Manager.
❑ Process all accounts payable in accordance with corporate procedures.
❑ Maintains communications with tenants. Promotes effective business relationship to convey corporate operational policies.
❑ Assist Property Manager to ensure compliance with established lease obligations including operating requirements, hours of operation and use clause.
❑ Develops understanding of tenant lease and lease obligations
❑ Ensures compliance with center management operations procedures and applicable government regulations. Notifies Property Manager if corrective action is required.
❑ Assists in the compilation and completion of periodic reports in a timely, professional manner.
❑ Executes approved projects in a timely manner – ensures scope accuracy and compliance.
❑ Maintains positive relationship with local community.
❑ Ability to provide interface and cohesiveness with the other departments that impact center management.
❑ Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour
