Position Description
Conga is looking for a senior cloud engineer with experience working on one or more public clouds. This Ops Engineer will be a part of the Engineering team and will require a strong knowledge of application monitoring, service reliability, security and compliance.
Key Responsibility:
- Study workload characteristics and design a sizing infrastructure solution for a given Engineering architecture
- Design and automate backup and recovery policies
- Analyze, observe, and understand system bottlenecks and fine tuning the systems
- Remediate any security findings
- Manage and maintain security tools
- Work with development and support teams to develop root cause analysis for production outages and performance problems
- Willingness to dive-in supporting Cloud IaaS/PaaS/SaaS environments as a part of 24×7 global cloud operations team
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study: Computer Science, Management Information Systems, etc., or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of enterprise level site reliability engineering or systems engineering
- Working knowledge of Azure, AWS and/or IBM Cloud platforms, or some certifications
- Cloud Certification in field of operations and security is highly desired
- Experience around Cloud security and compliance is highly desired
- Expertise using with one or more languages (Terraform, Python, Java, PowerShell), and git
- Experience in cloud management or micro-service architecture and related technologies like Docker, Kubernetes etc.
- Strong analytical skills and passion to solve problems.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills

The following information is provided in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay Act. The general salary target for this position in Colorado is $ 142,229.00
per year. However, the base salary offered may increase (or decrease) depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
In
addition to base salary, Conganeers receive a full range of perks and benefits, including financial, medical, and dental insurance.
We also fund an annual bonus program, with payout based upon annual corporate performance and individual performance
