ADME DMPK Lead Scientist

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement appropriate assays and technologies relevant to ADME-DMPK characterization for assessment of small molecule therapeutics for the drug discovery portfolio.
• Responsible for Discovery ADME study design, data analysis, PK/PD modeling & simulation and prediction.
• Integrate, interpret and report data to project teams and management.
• Initiate and facilitate collaboration with preclinical stakeholders for all DMPK/ADME projects.
• Characterize routes of metabolism in vitro and in vivo.
• Implement strategy and execution of non-clinical studies to identify DDI risks.

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Pharmacokinetics, Drug Metabolism or related field, with at least 5 years industry experience evaluating small molecule therapeutics.
• Hands on experience of detailed ADME/DMPK studies is essential.
• An understanding of CNS therapeutic area is a plus.
• Experience in identifying and characterizing DDI risks.
• Experience in the outsourcing and external oversight of nonclinical DMPK/ADME studies conducted by qualified suppliers.
• Excellent verbal and written skills, allowing for an open and effective dialogue throughout the company.
• Attention to detail and quality are critical to success.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
