The contractor shall provide transcription services to the U.S. Army Center of Military History.

The contractor shall prepare and submit oral history transcripts in support of the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) historical research and publications programs and the CMH’s Contingency and Cold War histories and other historical projects based upon interview recordings provided by the Government.

Requirements

• Must have 2+ years experience

• be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently

• Must be available to accept packages

• Must have a computer with latest Microsoft offfice software

Specific Task Required

• provide transcripts formatted based on specific instructions

• prepare the transcript verbatim.

• omit unnecessary expressions

• check for conventional spelling.

• Contractor shall deliver Ordinary Transcripts within 120, 30 or 5 calendar days after receipt of the audiotapes/files.
