We are currently seeking an experienced Project Director for our top-tier client in NZ to lead the project they are working on on the southern island of New Zealand. You will lead the team in driving the commercial and delivery functions, ideally, you have strong Civil works background and has experience working with an alliance on emergency works type of projects.

About you

• 10+ years experience working in the civil engineering industry or construction
• Relevant experience working on civil construction projects and maintenance networks.
• Previous experience in a senior management role on a similar type of project.
• High level of knowledge in contractual and commercial acumen (good experience in standard forms of the contract considered a minimum requirement).
• Experience working with NCTIR, SCRIT, etc. type of projects is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and people skills to effectively manage the link with other stakeholders and interface professionally with the client.
• Have the ability to manage the full life cycle of the works which encompasses front end set up including design and planning through to delivery of construction and final project closeout.
