Continu Looking for Junior Software Engineer at New York, NY Full Time

We’re looking for a passionate Software Engineer who is eager to continue growing and developing to join the Continu team full-time.

Our product is used by some of the world’s leading brands and you’ll be responsible for helping us expand our feature set and improve the core product.

You’ll join our team remotely as we work to build the future of workplace learning.

As a Junior Software Engineer at Continu, you will:

• Enhance and extend our product feature-set and architecture
• Contribute to our various applications and services
• Design and develop new services and capabilities
• Be a team player, helping your fellow team members with things like assisting in code reviews and triaging issues
• Work closely with other engineering team and product designers to brainstorm and test new ideas
• Have the drive to continuously maintain high product quality and improve processes
• Have excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Be passionate about the problems we are solving and constantly looking for the best ways to solve them

About You:

• Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field (engineering, computer science, etc.)
• 6+ months’ experience writing or shipping software as part of full-time work, college/bootcamp coursework, internships, or coding competitions
• Passion for learning, solving problems, and challenging the status quo
• Willingness to adhere to best practices, continually improve processes and provide clear and consistent reporting to senior team members/management

Compensation:

Our compensation approach is data-driven and rooted in our desire to attract and retain top talent. We offer competitive compensation and reward for individual accountability and performance.

The estimated salary range for this role is $80,000 – $100,000 per year.

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and we use a variety of external benchmarking tools to establish them. Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors including experience level, skill set, location, expected output in role, balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company, and ensuring there is adequate room for salary growth within the role.
