Description
Installs, programs, test, repairs, and services a variety of systems and equipment which may include security, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation with guidance as needed.
Works closely with customers and internal colleagues in providing technical installation support and training. Refers more complex issues to more experienced colleagues.
Interprets manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repairs equipment, utilizing knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools.
Provides basic installation assistance as directed by project lead.
Accountable for maximizing customer satisfaction. Acts as “our customer’s best service provider” at all times thereby ensuring Convergint Technologies is the customer’s first choice for service. Takes ownership of onsite project including safety, quality and performance. Observes and practices Convergint Quality Standards.
Makes suggestions for installation methods to improve profitability and quality.
The Electrical Installer I position will be responsible for learning and performing tasks of an Electrical Installer II in order to progress through the trade program.
The Electrical Installer I position will be responsible for providing basic hand tools as required to perform the daily tasks of the position.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
