Cooper University Hospital Hiring for CRITICAL CARE TECHNICIAN at Camden, New Jersey Full Time

Assists the Registered Nurse in providing direct, indirect,and non-patient care responsibilities. Assists patients in dressing/undressing, bathing, or eating. Performs EKG’s, collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs. Provides clerical support for the patient care unit including transcription, record keeping, and departmental communications. High School diploma or equivalent required with prior hospital/unit secretary experience. Acute care experience preferred. State and Unit Secretary Certification desirable. Certifications: BLS, Phlebotomy, EKG.Assists the Registered Nurse in providing direct, indirect and non-patient care responsibilities. Responsible for the collection of laboratory specimens and performing EKG?s.In addition, provides clerical support for the patient care unit.Assume responsibilities for transcription, record keeping, and intra-departmental and interdepartmental communications.
